Creating a virtual exhibition linked to a given display, for online visitors.
Storytelling
A modern, browser-based virtual exhibition platform for cultural institutions – with knowledge-map-based editing, on every device.

Digital exhibitions with knowledge-map-based editing
Storytelling has been a way of passing on knowledge since the dawn of humankind, and for cultural institutions it is a particularly useful way of reaching visitors. That is why, with the Storytelling application, we want to offer a modern digital tool for conveying the cultural values and knowledge kept by public collections.
A story made in Storytelling is digital exhibition material on one topic, put together from the collection and other content, which the collection manager assembles and edits on their own editing interface. The result can be used in many ways — as an online exhibition linked to an existing display or standing on its own, as a marketing element or as a digital exhibition guide.
Key features
Visual navigation in the story
Editing produces a knowledge map (topology) — the visual representation of the story is also available on the visitor interface, helping navigation and understanding. It breaks with the linear, slideshow-like concept.
Topology and slide templates
Parallel stories, a chamber exhibition concept or optional routes can also be realised — the focus is on the visual presentation of the topic.
Text and media content in one place
The collection manager assembles the exhibition material and edits its appearance on their own editing interface, with content from the collection and other sources.
A dedicated mobile view
The application is a responsive web application running in an ordinary browser — the visitor interface is browser-based and can also be reached from mobile devices, with its own mobile view.
Ways of using it
A stand-alone digital exhibition on the web for an anniversary or an important event, even without a physical exhibition.
It can also be used as a marketing element, as stand-alone content or as part of a campaign.
Digital content that complements a physical exhibition, or a digital exhibition guide.

Frequently asked questions
What is a knowledge map?
A knowledge map (topology) is a visual method of editing and presentation that allows a non-linear narrative — visitors can choose their own route, explore side branches, jump back and follow alternative connections.
What is a cloud service?
The application runs on a server in Hungary operated by Monguz Kft. The editing and the display interface are reached from a browser — nothing has to be downloaded or installed. The content remains the property of the institution.
What technical knowledge does editing require?
The Storytelling editing interface is intuitive and easy to learn for users accustomed to office work. No special IT expertise is needed — Qulto provides online training and ongoing support access.
What happens to my data if my subscription ends?
The content you have made can be exported at any time, so the work is not lost when the subscription ends. The data is handled according to the terms of the institutional contract.
Can I try out how it works?
